Brush Truck 3
Brush 3 – This vehicle was purchased by Jim Wells County for the Alice Fire Department. Specs – 2011 F-750. Carries 1,000 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam and pumps 325 gallons per minute. This truck has multiple purposes with the primary purpose of extinguishing wild land fires (i.e, brush, grass). This truck can also serve as a tender (tanker), it also carries a 1200 gallon drop tank which is a portable tank to hold water. This truck can also pump and roll, which allows it to extinguish fires while on the move and can also be used for structural fires. This vehicle is assigned to the Southside Fire Station.
