Vendor - Private Property

  • Completed City Application
  • Copy of Sales Tax Permit
  • Liability Insurance
    • $100,000 / Person
    • $300,000 / occurrence - bodily injury
    • $50,000 / occurrence - property damage
  • Background check
  • Site plan
  • Required area *
  • Permission from property owner
  • Bathroom facilities
  • Permit fee - $250 / month (no pro rate)

Peddlers (Door-to-Door)


  • Completed City Application
  • Copy of Sales Tax Permit
  • Surety Bond - $5,000
  • Background check
  • Copy of drivers license for each individual
  • Permit Fee - $75 / six months
  • No soliciting after 7 pm
* NOT within 300' of public/parochial school, Not conjest traffic, NOT within public row, NOT on unimproved vacant property within the City of Alice, NOT from a vehicle

All of the above information must be obtained as per Ordinance #1835 passed and approved on March 12, 2007 by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Alice, Jim Wells County.
